Situated on 15 acres of sustainably-farmed vineyards and gardens along the Carmel River, Folktale Winery is an idyllic setting to discover and enjoy the great wines, food, natural beauty, and hospitality of Carmel Valley, California.
Our commitment to sustainability
At our core, Folktale is hyper focused on sustainability and the responsibility we have to be stewards of this land. We are just the most recent tenants of this sacred place and know that we won’t be the last. It is our job to soften our footprint and ensure that our efforts to craft award winning wines doesn’t come at a cost greater than we can manage.

Wine Garden Restaurant
Our Wine Garden is open – a perfect outdoor setting to enjoy lunch or dinner.
Reservations are required for all guests of the Wine Garden. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins at this time.
Sunday Brunch
Every Sunday, we serve a locally sourced, unique menu from our culinary team under the gorgeous California sun. With a mixologist on site presenting handcrafted wine centered cocktails all your delights are taken care of.

At Folktale we do it all. Music is in our blood here at the wine farm, and thus we are proud to have hosted some of the greatest musicians on the planet. We also host a range of other events – everything from live comedy, to geek-out workshops, to live streamed shows, to flamboyant parties and private shopping nights.
