DESCRIPTION:Peter Barnes Martin is a full-time multi-genre musician from Rochester\, New York\, based in Monterey\, California. His compositions and performances are influenced by jazz\, indie folk\, and alternative and jazz genres. Peter’s act is characterized by improvisational ability\, seasoned experience\, and versatility\, which he draws from his time touring throughout Michigan and the Carolinas with the Joseph Herbst Sextet and his work as a professional jazz musician in New York City. \nIn March 2023\, Peter self-released his debut album\, ‘Anywhere is Home\,’ and subsequently promoted it on a 10-date tour from San Diego\, California\, to Seattle\, Washington. In addition to this tour\, Peter performs regularly throughout California\, with 166 gigs in 2023. In 2024\, Peter will release his second project\, “The Lake\,” as a series of singles from September 2024 to 2025. DESCRIPTION:Playing the tenor\, alto\, and soprano saxes as well as clarinet and bass clarinet\, Stu Reynolds has performed at festivals nationwide including the Taste of Chicago\, San Francisco’s Reggae in the Park\, the Monterey Jazz Festival\, Riverfest in Wisconsin\, the Bay Area Latin Jazz Festival\, the San Jose Jazz Festival\, and the Big Sur Jazz Festival. Stu has opened shows for Carlos Santana\, Airto\, the Yellowjackets\, Branford Marsalis\, and many others. He appears on recordings with Maria Muldaur\, Along Came Betty\, Santa Cruz Steel\, Pele Juju\, Mario Flores Latin Jazz\, Aporia\, and many others. As co-leader of the Monterey-based group Latin Jazz Collective\, he has contributed numerous original compositions to their two album releases. Stu has been teaching music since 1990 in private lessons\, high school\, and university settings.
