Peter Barnes Martin
Peter Barnes Martin is a full-time multi-genre musician from Rochester, New York, based in Monterey, California. His compositions and performances are influenced by jazz, indie folk, and alternative and jazz genres. Peter’s act is characterized by improvisational ability, seasoned experience, and versatility, which he draws from his time touring throughout Michigan and the Carolinas with the Joseph Herbst Sextet and his work as a professional jazz musician in New York City.
In March 2023, Peter self-released his debut album, ‘Anywhere is Home,’ and subsequently promoted it on a 10-date tour from San Diego, California, to Seattle, Washington. In addition to this tour, Peter performs regularly throughout California, with 166 gigs in 2023. In 2024, Peter will release his second project, “The Lake,” as a series of singles from September 2024 to 2025. He looks forward to working with new venues and festivals that are interested in developing artists.

The Landing Trio
Longtime collaborators Keith Rayburn and Eliza Lynn James join forces with Rick Chelew to offer an intimate acoustic map of their musical journeys. With guitar, upright bass, and rich vocal harmonies, the Central Coast trio explores Keith’s original songs, new discoveries, and cherished classics that call to them.
The trio is at home on stage, lingering in reverent and joyful harmony, creating a performance that feels both personal and timeless.

RJ DeMarco
RJ is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and producer who seamlessly blends live performance with innovative production techniques. Drawing from over 20 years of musical experience, RJ creates dynamic soundscapes by expertly weaving together saxophone, guitar, keyboards, and vocals through live looping technology. Originally from Buffalo, New York, and now based in Monterey, California, RJ has developed a unique artistic voice that bridges the gap between traditional instrumentation and modern production method.

Raison d’etre
Raison d’etre (Thomas Burks & Stephen Pavlik) has been making music together for over a year. They play various musical styles, all based on their combined history. Thomas comes from West Texas, so he leans a little on the countryside, yet he grew up listening to the rock music of the 60s, 70s, and beyond. Stephen was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., and has been influenced by just about every musical genre, including classical and jazz. Together, they have a very eclectic portfolio of music from other artists and their compositions.

Magenta Spreen
Magenta Spreen is a musical duo from Central California, made up of husband and wife Kristen Gradwohl and Talmon Owens. Before forming the duo, Kristen got her start performing with founding members of The California Honeydrops and later opened for artists like Larkin Poe, while Talmon shared stages with acts like Mapache and Anthony Green. Their music is shaped by their deep connection to songwriting and singing together, drawing inspiration from artists like Elliott Smith, Neil Young, and Phoebe Bridgers. Their new single, Infinity, holds special meaning for them, as Kristen sang it to Talmon at their wedding.

Bobcat Rob
Bobcat Rob is a Songwriter / Multi-Instrumentalist with a voice likened to honey drizzled over burning coals. His songs are as uplifting as they are haunting, drawing on visceral truths and common threads to weave captivating tales. Spanning a wide dynamic range, each song carries its own weight and settles deep into the listener.

Monterey Jazz Regional All-Star Combos
Each Regional All-Star ensemble features talented students from across Monterey County. The ensembles rehearse twice monthly to develop ensemble skills, and in the summer, they perform across Monterey County and far beyond, testing their chops on the bandstand while bringing great jazz music to the community. They have performed at prestigious venues and festivals such as the Tomisato Jazz Festival in Japan, the Vancouver Jazz Festival in British Columbia, San Jose Jazz Fest, Jazz on the Plazz, Forest Theater in Carmel-by-the-Sea, and the Monterey Jazz Festival, among many others.

Benny Basset
You are always close to home if you live on the road. For Benny Bassett, the California native now based out of New Mexico, the past four years have proven this sentiment. After a band split in 2015, Benny strapped on his road-tested Gibson and headed out on the highways to bring his unique blend of soulful acoustic rock to anyone who would listen. 400,000 road miles later, Benny has proven that there is no fan too far and no stage where his music cannot connect with the listener.

Tim Brady
Tim Brady is a singer/songwriter from the Monterey Bay area and leader of the locally award winning Santa Cruz band Cement Ship. The acoustic guitar style, singing tone and original songs from Tim seem to fit a wide array of crowds and genres, but maintains a natural and stripped down approach for the sound. Honest and raw, sweet and smoky, dynamic like the sea. The band’s namesake is taken from local landmark the SS Palo Alto, and the music has been described as ‘Americana Soul’ or ‘Beach Folk’.

Kito Rayburn was born in Anthony, NM, and grew up in Monterey, CA, in a musical household that fostered his profound love for the craft. He has played music all of his life, mainly in a support role, as a bassist or a drummer, but started writing his music when the pandemic hit. He draws from his experience playing in other bands and living in the desert and on the coast for his sound, a blend of Indie, Americana, Folk, and Rock. His songs are contemplative and self-reflective, with relatable themes of change and a desire to be better for himself, others, and the world.

He migrated to the West Coast after a stint in NYC, headlining shows at venues like The Bitter End and Pianos. His decision to move inspired a new collection of songs showcasing classic genres like country, jazz, and pop while blending in traditional Americana themes. Rory’s smooth, deep croon harkens back to the first days of Country Folk and fits nicely next to modern artists like Orville Peck and Sturgill Simpson. Recently, he has been recording at Wind River Studios with plans to release his debut full-length album in Spring 2022.

Casey Wickstrom
Casey Wickstrom is a multi-instrumentalist and live looping artist, vocalist, music producer, writer, and film editor. He sings and plays guitar, lap slide guitar, cigar box guitar, bass, harmonica, and other instruments. His songs have charted on the Apple Music Blues charts, and he has been named one of the Top 100 Unsigned Artists by Music Connection Magazine.

Trianna is a singer-songwriter out of Santa Cruz, blending smooth R&B vibes with a Pop-Funk edge. Think Erykah Badu meets Amy Winehouse with a fresh twist. Growing up in a family of folk and World music, she brings a unique flavor to everything she touches—soulful, engaging, and always groovy.

Maya and Keith
Maya and Keith are a Daughter-Father duo, hailing from the central coastal area of California, near Moss Landing. They perform mostly originals by the two of them, with cover songs from a wide variety of other folks, such as Josiah and the Bonnevilles, Zach Bryan, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and other folk singers. It’s a great blend of the new with the old, in the classic folk music tradition.

Richard Bryant’s musical career has many highlights, including years of touring as a vocalist with such renowned groups as The Doobie Brothers and The Little River Band. Kyle Kovalik has had a lifelong love affair with the guitar. He was heavily involved in the Northwest music scene as a player and a music industry professional.

Taylor Safina & Jesse DeCarlo
Performing together since 2024, Taylor Safina and Jesse DeCarlo have brought their eclectic mix of funk, soul, and rock to audiences across the Monterey Bay area. At their shows, you can hear beautifully arranged originals as well as covers spanning multiple eras and styles, featuring Taylor’s rich voice and masterful keyboard work, and Jesse’s exceptional versatility and artistry on guitar and bass.

Moshe Vilozny
Moshe Vilozny is a musician and music teacher born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in Santa Cruz, California. He started learning piano and saxophone in elementary school before moving on to guitar. Inspired by his experiences with different cultures and music, he formed the band Universal Language while studying at Cabrillo College. He has released two albums of original music, “Revolución” and “Lost & Found.” In 2020, he took a break from music to obtain his teaching credential and is now the music teacher at Gault Elementary School in Santa Cruz. Moshe has just finished recording and releasing some of his most honest and intimate songs to date, and is currently touring in support of his 2026 EP “Sand In My Pocket”.
