Moshe Vilozny + Dave Holidiloff
Moshe Vilozny is a musician and music teacher born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Santa Cruz, California. He started learning piano and saxophone in elementary school before moving on to guitar. Inspired by his experiences with different cultures and music, he formed the band Universal Language while studying at Cabrillo College. He has released two albums of original music, “Revolución” and “Lost & Found.” In 2020, he took a break from music to obtain his teaching credential and is now the music teacher at Gault Elementary School in Santa Cruz.

Anywhere Is Home
Anywhere is Home combines the rhythmic propulsions of percussionist Aaron Hipschman with the harmonic and melodic intrigue of Peter Barnes Martin on guitar and vocals. Rooted in their love of jazz and improvisation, this duo brings their fresh approach to diverse styles, including jazz, folk, singer-songwriter, popular covers, and their original music. Moving from New York to California in 2021, Peter brought his extensive musical experience to the West Coast and quickly grew a full calendar of performances. Combining his love for jazz with his passion for Cuban and Brazilian music, Aaron Hipschman explores a hybrid percussion setup that will surely get you moving.

Rory Lynch
Rory Lynch is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer based in Santa Cruz, CA. He migrated to the west coast after a stint in NYC headlining shows at venues like The Bitter End and Pianos. His decision to move provided inspiration for a new collection of songs that showcase classic genres like country, jazz, and pop while blending in classic Americana themes. Rory’s smooth deep croon harkens back to the first days of Country Folk and fits nicely next to modern artists like Orville Peck and Sturgill Simpson. Recently he has been recording at Wind River Studios with plans to release his debut full length album in Spring 2022.

Brett Freshour
Originally from Oklahoma, Brett Freshour writes, produces, and performs a unique yet familiar approach to various styles interspersed with predominantly rock, hip-hop, and pop-culture elements. In his original work, you can expect to hear stylistic nuances and influences that span a vast spectrum of artists and times. In his captivating and creative delivery, he can achieve a truly moving experience for those who love to sing, dance, or listen along to original songs as well as classic and modern favorites ranging from the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Tom Petty, & Prince to more recent artists such as Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Jason Mraz, Justin Bieber and much more. Charismatic and charming, Brett effectively creates a fun and engaging vibe with a keen sense of song choice that is a little something for all styles and age groups.

Meredith McHenry
Meredith McHenry sings effortlessly and soulfully through her original compositions and selections by varied artists like Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald to TOOL and The Weeknd. For more than ten years, Meredith and her family of Bay Area musicians have been entertaining audiences all over CA. Quarantine presented an interesting choice between not performing for an undetermined amount of time or learning to play solo for the first time in her career and jumping on the virtual show circuit. So, Meredith picked up the guitar, piano, and looper pedal and started playing virtual shows weekly to stay connected with audiences.

Chris Lynch
It is not what you play, but how you play it’ is a familiar aphorism in music. We rarely experience someone who embodies both the virtuosity and the primordial force of musical expression. Chris Lynch is one of those musicians. Multi-instrumentalist, film composer, arranger, producer, and engineer are just a handful of titles you could pin on Lynch, though he is foremost a violinist. The violin has been the centerpiece of Chris’ musical story arc since moving to Santa Cruz from Minnesota in the early 2000s. He began scoring films like Code and Response (Austin Peck), touring with Marty O’Reilly, The Brothers Comatose, and The Shook Twins. He is now releasing his debut solo album, ‘ Migrations’ on Sonderhouse Records.

Magenta Spreen
Magenta Spreen collaborates with singer-songwriters Kristen Gradwohl (WUWU) and Talmon Owens. Together, they bring dreamy soundscapes, vocal harmonies, storytelling, and mindful melodies.

Kris Angelis
Kris Angelis is a radiant new singer/songwriter living in the city that shares her name. The Los Angeles-based musician writes lyrics that read like poetry (“the rain turned to lace on the first day and the last day that I was a child”) and delivers harmonies imbued with a sense of longing. She names Brandi Carlile, Ray LaMontagne, Hanson, Rufus Wainwright, and David Gray as influences to her acoustic folk-rock sound but adds that everything in her life influences her music.

Al James Duo
Singer, guitarist, and composer Al James hails from Seaside, California. His music has been an integral element of his life, and his rootsy, soulful delivery has an eclectic vibe flavored by influences from Jimi Hendrix to Stevie Wonder. His renditions of others and his compositions have a flair and energy of their own . . . reflective, upbeat and innovative. Al’s vocal stylings and dynamism on stage are infectious in appeal and energy.
