Through a shared love of vocal harmony and Americana songwriting, Taylor Rae and Sam Hodgson created Lemongrass, a refreshing iteration of the classic Folk Duo.

Drawing from the tradition of The Avett Brothers, Shakey Graves, and Mumford & Sons, the duo harmonizes while playing percussion, using a kick drum and tambourine to create the driving energy of a full band with only two members.

The dreamy storytelling of their lyrics and the natural vocal blend of their harmony position Lemongrass as a standout voice in today’s Americana revival.
