Curated and led by NPR favorite Don Reed and bestselling author and award-winning comedian David Nihill, Folktale welcomes “Pour & Tell,” featuring a rotating cast of master storytellers from The Moth, Snap Judgment, HBO, Late Night, Off-Broadway, and beyond.

This isn’t your typical night out. The Folktale Storytelling Series pairs unforgettable true stories with exceptional wine, seasonal culinary delights, and an atmosphere that transforms a regular evening into something truly magical.

Because the best stories, like the best wines, are meant to be shared.

Don Reed, the NPR award-winning storyteller and Tonight Show veteran, brings big energy, razor-sharp wit, and unforgettable characters to the stage.

Gina Stahl-Haven is an award-winning comedian and storyteller. You may have seen her on America’s Got Talent or in venues across the country. Gina’s honest take on life, motherhood, and navigating Costco makes her a delight to watch.

Joe Klocek is a master storyteller and crowd engager. He’s appeared on NPR’s Snap Judgment, Comedy Central, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing, was a comic-in-residence in Shanghai, and a runner-up in the SF and Seattle Comedy Competitions. Voted Best Comic in the 2011 SF Weekly Readers Poll.

Kari Kiernan is a writer, a storyteller, and a Bay Area native. Over the past 18 years, she’s been a regular performer at Porchlight and Naked Truth and has also been onstage at The Vent, Eat My Heart Out, and Literary Death Match, among others.
