Get ready for an unforgettable evening of music, food, and wine on Tuesday, September 30th, at the Wine Garden, as Folktale Winery and 92.7 KTOM Radio proudly present John Morgan!
John Morgan, whose hit “Friends Like That” featuring Jason Aldean has already racked up over 12.5 million streams, has quickly emerged as a standout songwriter and performer. He has opened for Ernest, Riley Green, Jameson Rodgers, Conner Smith, Rodney Atkins, and Aldean himself on the sold-out Rock N Roll Cowboy tour. Aldean, who recorded 16 of John’s songs, also co-produced John’s EP title track along with “Ain’t Been There Yet” and “Friends Like That.”
What truly sets John apart is his authenticity. From the summer-ready “Won’t Be as Good” to the George Strait-inspired “Cold in Summer in San Antone,” his songs are relatable slices of life, delivered with unassuming intellect and genuine country charm. From his bluegrass beginnings in Sylva, NC, to a chance encounter with a songwriter-turned-Uber driver that led to Aldean discovering him, John has penned hits for Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, and others, all while building a growing catalog of songs under his own name. Meticulous about capturing the spirit of each track in the studio, his debut EP is the culmination of years of songwriting, performance, and heart, an invitation for fans to experience him as an artist, not just a songwriter.
John continues to expand his sound with heartfelt releases like Carolina Blue and his latest single, “Kid Myself”, songs that showcase his ability to blend introspective lyricism with infectious hooks.
